The purpose of New Life Church Life Groups is to create a community where we can grow together. We want people to connect with others and grow in their walk with Christ.
Our groups generally run from September to May, but some continue through the summer. Most groups meet in homes, but some meet in church.

Requirements
- Facilitators of community
- Leaders of Life Change as you show your group how to live for Jesus.
- Cheerleaders, Encouragers, mentors, and prayer partners.
- A representation and reflection of the heart of Christ, and a representative of New Life Church OG or Concordia.
- Are dedicated to serving Jesus and demonstrate a life devoted to living for Him.
- Are open to serving others by opening their homes and sharing their experiences.
- Lead and facilitate bi-weekly or monthly meetings.
- Are available to their members for prayer and support.
Requirements
- Attend all steps of the Next Steps process
- Welcome Party, Grow Night, Connect Night (or an older form of those classes)
- Faithfully attend New Life Church OG or Concordia
- Attend Life Group Leader Training
- Lead your group for one full season (September to December and January to May). Summer and extra meetings are at the discretion of the Life Group Leader
- Follow-up with your Life Group members through face-to-face contact, phone call, text, e-mail or social media.
How do I become a Life Group Leader
1. Text “Serve” to 816-688-4646 and choose “Life Group Leader” or "Life Group Host”
2. Fill out the L3 Serve Form *If leading a YTH or Kid’s LG, get a background check
3. Fill out the “Setting up my Life Group” Form
4. Interview with Pastor Steve
5. Attend LG Leader Training
6. Attend the Life Group Launch
7. Set up a Social Media presence for your group (A Facebook group or page)
8. Send invitations by text or email to your friends.
9. Lead your Life Group.
